Dark Green, coarsely toothed or pinnately lobed; basal ones to 3" long

Habitat:
Waste places, meadows, pastures, and roadsides.
Comments:
An extremely common, even weed-like species, Oxeye Daisy was originally introduced to North America from Europe. This species- the "day's eye" produce an unwanted flavor in milk if eaten by cattle.
