Description
|
30-35"A solidily built black Cormorant , with a orange throat pouch and long neck. Long hooked bill is tilted upwards when bird swims. Adults have tuft of feathers over each eye during breeding season. Young birds are browner, with tan or whitish color on neck and upper breast. In flight, neck shows a slight crook , not seen in larger Great cormorant or smaller Neotropic. |
